Governor's Meeting House
10910 West 60th Street
Shawnee, KS 66203

p: 913-631-2661
The antebellum, federal style home was built circa 1850, years before Kansas became a state. Kansas became a territory in 1854, which began as a series of events unparalleled in American history. At the forefront of these events the first Territorial Governor of Kansas, Andrew Reeder, arrived to attempt a peaceful transition from frontier to statehood. The Governor resided in the home, which even today is still referred to as the Governor's Mansion.

An ideal location for rehearsal dinners, departure day brunches, receptions, luncheons, anniversaries, brunches, afternoon and bridal teas, baby and wedding showers, business lunches and meetings, lawn parties, formal dinners, breakfast buffets, holiday and corporate events/office parties, birthday parties and other memorable occasions. Additionally, for larger events we offer off-premise catering.

We are well versed in planning menus that will complement all of your special functions. Our team of chefs have earned their credentials through years of success in some of Kansas City's finest dining establishments and country clubs.
