Incorporated in 1975, MOCSA now has over 30 staff members and a network of nearly 200 volunteers that offer their support in a variety of ways. MOCSA serves the Kansas City Area Metropolitan area including Jackson, Clay, Cass and Platte Counties in Missouri and Johnson and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas. Services included a 24-hour crisis line, support and counseling for rape victims, advocacy services, and rape prevention. Please see the services page for more details. Limited services are also provided to residents of outlying counties, including Johnson and Ray Counties in Missouri, and Atchison and Leavenworth in Kansas.
